Most cars that sense burnt out / broken bulbs simply alert you to the problem, not cause bigger issues. Post this problem again but include the year, make and model of the car for the best chances of getting the help you're looking for.

Have a ford focus 1.6 diesel 05,revers bulb whent. changed bulb still didnt work, looked at fuses got a multymeter on them.said thay were ok. when started engine up engine management light comes on?

Could be the switch itself that is faulty. Not sure where yours is but could either be broken or not activating (being moved) when engaging reverse. Management light may not have anything to do with it, just a coincidence so treat them as 2 different problems.

Driver side blinker goes double time when headlights are on and all the bulbs in the rear flash at a different time. When the brake pedal is pressed driver side brake light goes out and both reverse l

You have a broken Ground wire From Body to Frame . You Should Have a Heavy Braided Ground wire From Engine Block to Frame on Pass side, Then You will have another one that goes from firewall to engine , like at the back of the Head on passenger side to a screw to firewall.,....One of these is Broken,Loose, Corroded.

No high beam 1998 Dodge grand Caravan, Cahnged head lights, fuses and relay running lights are working

You say you changed the head lights. I once changed 5 sets of head lights before I found the ones that worked on my 1994 Dodge Caravan. The guy at the store must of thought I was crazy, I know I felt that way about myself.
First remove each bulb separately and put them up to the sunlight. It is possible that the high beam filament is broken, if you can't see it, which sometimes happens, you can use an ohm meter to check each filament in the bulb. This may sound strange but it happened to me.
Check this first and please let me now how you made out. GOOD LUCK.

I was changing the head light bulb and one of the prongs broke what can i do?

If it was a prong on the bulb, you will probably need to get another bulb. If it was a prong in the
bulb socket, you will probably be able to get another at a parts house.

How do i replace a low beam head light on a 94' camry ?

Things You'll Need:
  • #H11-55W and #9005 replacement bulbs (low- and high-beam bulbs for 2007 and later models)
  • #9006 and #9005 replacement bulbs (low- and high-beam bulbs for 2002-2006 models).
STEPS TO REPLACE HEAD LIGHT: Shut off the Camry's engine and set the parking brake for added safety. Also, make sure its headlights are switched off. Open the hood using the primary and auxiliary hood release latches. Locate the back of the headlight assembly and determine whether the low- or high-beam bulb needs to be replaced. Turn the headlight bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the assembly. Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the bulb. Carefully dispose of the bulb to prevent it from shattering or cracking.

Mitsubishi lancer coupe 1993 broken indicator

Check the bulbs, if you haven't already, if they are ok it's most likely the flasher, which is mounted on the fuse block under the dash.

Passenger side low beam headlight on a 2002 nissan altima

when you got the spark chances are you shorted the receptacle for the bulb on the low side you should check the fuse for this . the drivers side low beam worked before so i would say you blew the fuse. on the passenger side check for broken ,frayed ,or loose wires in the light harness and the plugs them selves chances are you will find a short in them. please rate this solution
