Caravelle fuel injection change to carb, now theres no fire ,do i need something to get firing on distributor and coil

You cant remove the ECU because you skip the injection. Your distributor will lack the cam and crankshaft signals.

I need firing order

  • Hi, I can help. Please see the diagrams I uploaded for your firing order. You did not list weather you have fuel injection, turbo or carburetor so I will list all 3 possibilities for you.

  • This is the firing order for a carbureted.

  • This firing order is for a fuel injected turbo engine.

Surf 1KZ-TE Diesel wont fire

Typically, the glow plug light not coming on indicates that you have some bad plugs or poor connection. You need to replace the plugs and check the wire connections. It is interesting how picky diesels are when they aren't warm.
Hope this helps.

Car simply will not start or fire

Assuming it's fuel injected, check your fuses (there is a fuse for the EFI and fuel pump). If the fuse is fine, then the issue is most likely your fuel pump (located in the fuel tank). You can change the fuel regulator (located under the air cleaner unit) but it sounds like a bad fuel pump.
If it's not fuel injected, please post back for other options.

Firing order

Which engine do you have in your truck. Ford had a couple of firing orders as per engine that was installed.
