First, are you sure it's the fuse? If all the fuses in the underhood fuse box are good, you might check the horn relay in that same fuse box.
Also,That model of truck has a reputation for the clock-spring failing. Its located in the steering column under the steering wheel its basically just a coil of paper type material with a copper strand going through it which transfers power to anything that needs it in the steering wheel.

Hope that helps.

Is there voltage at the horn that is switched by the button on the steering wheel? is it grounded well? If so, you need a new horn. If not, chase the signal with a multimeter. Easy peasy fix. 2000 ford f150 is there and if so... where is the - 25316101-dz1fkxf1fwolart5ai0divhk-3-0.jpg

My horn on my ford f150 truck 1994 doesn't work. What steps can I do to fix it myself ?

Go to the Autozone.com site and register your vehicle for free. Then scroll to the bottom of the Homepage to the help sections. Some are free and some are pay sites.

The info you want is available Free. Should be under wiring and diagrams

Then go to Diagrams and there will be Power box info which will show Relay locations item by item. Remove the Horn Relay. Replace and switch the relay with a like part #. For testing, an unused Relay when the engine is OFF can be swapped to test.

If the horn will not sound with the different relay, your problem is not with the relay but with a wire or the horn itself.

Please rate my info.

For 2004 ford truck f150 extended cab, I found the horn fuse, where is the horn relay?

disconnect the horn or horns, operate the horn and see if the fuse still blows. if the fuse still blows then there is most likely a short in the wiring. relays rarely cause shorts. if the fuse doesnt blow with the horn disconnected, reconnect the horn and operate the horn again, if the fuse blows you have a shorted horn.

2001 f-150 ford pick up truck . horn will not work

Did you check the fuse for the horn ? Engine compartment fuse panel, fuse #7, 20A

You can pull the horn relay, and jumper the normally open contacts to see if the fuse, horn and grounds for the horn are in working order ( this operates the horn without needing to use the horn button ).
The Horn relay is a half size Ford ISO relay in the engine compartment fuse panel ( check your owners manual to locate relay 206 ).

Diagram to jumper the horn relay, with this in place, the horn should sound as long as the jumper is in place

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

1996 Ford F150 Truck Horn will not blow.check horn itself Ok.

How did you check the horn? You need to ohm it out. If in spec it is good. Check the fuse for it. Check the connector. Also If that is all good maybe be clockspring in steering wheel.

2000 F150 horn and cruise inop

First this only applies if your cruise buttons are on your steering wheel. If so look into a possible problem with the clockspring mounted in your steering column! Good Luck!

2005 f150 horn does not work

Check the wiring at the horn button, then check to see if there are any relays, then check the horn assembly itself. Check all of those first.
