Easy way is to install a small piece of black tape over the light.

You need to remove passenger side knee bolster to get at bcm. There are air-bag precautions and warnings. That is your responsibility, you don't want the air-bag going off.

2003 gmc savanna, wont start, new fuel pump and ignition cylinder, I turned key to on position, let sit for 15 min and still wont start just turns over

Find fuel test valve in fuel rail on top of engine. Take cap off valve. Turn key on. Push down valve with screw driver. fuel should squirt out. If not check fuse fuel pressure relay and bad wires. If fuel does come out, remove a spark plug from engine. Connect plug wire to plug. Ground plug against engine. Crank over engine and look for spark.

Air bag warning light comes on goes off now on all the time, 2006 GMC Yukon Denali 70,000 miles - is it a reset or fix and will it explode while driving?

It's a very dangerous situation you're in. The main thing now is safety so I would disable the air bag 'till you get to a mechanic. Disconnect the battery overnight to discharge power to it then take (usually) 2 screws behind bag on steering wheel off and yank horn pad/air bag (usually 2 clips) and disconnect the wire(Not the horn wire).
good luck

The service air bags warning light came on

After swaping my radio I had this same problem. The dealership told me that I must of unpluged the little rectulanger plug on the back of the temputure controls, and I did. After they reset it I never had that problem again. That lesson cost me $25.00

Air bag disabling

Hi Lorraine,

I think it would be far safer for your daughter, to have a seat, even a fold up, that could lock into it's position, when in use, fitted into the rear behind the front seats....I'd also suggest that it is fitted with full harness safety belt....

I don't have a diagram and even if I had one, I would not give it to you.... I cannot understand why anyone would give a letter of authority, to disengage such an important safety device....It is something which may save her life.....

Do you never see the possibility, of carrying anyone else in the vehicle?

I'm sorry if I seem harsh.....I am with the traffic department where I live, and I have attended accidents.....one yesterday....

I don't know the reasons why you have applied for that exemption....All that I can say to you, is leave the air bags working and make sure you drive so that you'll never need the safety that the air bag provides....

I'm sorry if my reaction has upset you, but I wish your daughter and you, all the very best....

Regards Johngee10
