What kind of vehicle? Usually when that happens either the window glass it rubbing against the stops or stabilizers and the window thinks there is something in the way and is stopping. Sometimes the auto function is out of sequence. Try pushing the up button and holding it for a few seconds and then auto it down. That might solve the sequence problem.

the adjustment on the windw regulater is set too tight, or the built in safety threshold is set too sensitive. try lubricating the rubber window channels with some petroleum jelly or high grade machine oil.

My manual drivers window gets stuck half why?

It`s off its track. Window regulators are mostly if not all plastic. You would have to get the door panel off to see what`s up.The plastic can get very brittle from heat.

Hi, the passenger window glass stopped working all of a suden and fell down inside the door, i pulled it up where it should be then 5 minutes later i was trying the machine again to see if it's working...

it does not sound like an electrical issue if it fell down.
what may have happened is the bolt that hold the window onto the window mechanism has come out. you may find it is working ok now because the bottom of the window is sitting on top of the mechanism that goes up and down.
wind the window half way down and see if you can lift it up easily, if you can then the bolt has come out and needs to be replaced before the window falls down again and smashes.
if you remove the door card as per the manual it is normally an easy job.

try this, put the key in door and unlock/hold over key.windows will go down, then lock/hold over, windows will go up.this resets the windows auto trap mech.(kids fingers)if you still have a problem also try using silicon spray on the runners.NOT THE GLASS.....

Electric window only goes down half way

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal. It sounds like the guide rails may be loose and snagging the window. Or your regulator may be broken (not likely)

Power window auto reverses

Now this sounds like fun.... The window does not know where it is...I suspect that when this bolt came loose, gears went out of "time" and to correct, I would pull the motor, disconnect the bolt that you mentioned, run the motor to full up or down, reconnect your bolt and test...

Couple of times, and I bet you'll have it.
