2002 thunderbird window won't go up or down replace swith still wont work fuse are ok does the switch get power

The master switch connector does have circuits that have power on them. The Master switch is not directly connected to the window motors. The switch sends a signal to the Front Electronic Module and the module controls operation of the motor on the driver side. The passenger door window motor is controlled by a different module

Can't use the drivers side electric window it wont open or shut so its open all the time how do I fix it please

Before it stoped working was the window going up or down slow? if so it will be the motor that will need to be replaced. I have seen the window switch go bad itself but not very often. You can check it with a light tester on the switch and see if you have power and if you do then it's the motor and if not it could be the switch. But one wire will have power even if the switch is bad. The fues to it is under ya hood in the fuse box. When you open it it will tell you where it is located.

My drivers side window wont go down. all the other functions on the switch works. is it a fuse or what

Try this....
Open the door, turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine and everything that makes noise is off. Lean down placing your ears close to the bottom center of the door or at the speaker grill. Press the window switch UP and DOWN. Listen for the window motor. If heard the drive is damaged. If not heard, turn key off and locate and replace the relay with one of the other window relays. Check window again. If it works now, get a new relay. If not GMC's that year are notorious for window motor issues. More often than not, removing the motor and turning it by hand will get it working good as new. I have had to do that with Brand New motors! So try it.
If all has failed, with the door panel still off, check for voltage at the motor connector when pushing the window switch. No voltage means its the switch, especially if its a auto down or up switch.

take the door cover out .look for the door window wiring make sure you have power going down to the switch.if you do have power going to the switch, then its time to check if the power its going from the switch to the door window motor,if you have power on getting to window motor and the motor is not working, then the motor its bad need to be replace.before all of these steps to fallow.
check in the fuse box the fuse, the fuse that is related with the door window motor,it should be shown in the fuse box cap.good luck.

My 1997 Pontiac Grand Am driver side window will not roll up but passenger side works completely

I have a 1999 grand prix and I had this same problem. It was my switch on the drivers side cluster. I bought a whole used cluster on ebay for $25. We tested my motor by applying power to the motor with 12 volts from a battery. a power window motor window has 2 wires. put (+) on one, and (-) on another and one way will take the window up, the other will roll it down.

The drivre side window wont roll down and up and

You didn't say if you had manual or electric windows. First stop is the fuse box to insure you don't have one or more blown fuses. If that is not the case, then you need to check the circuit at your horn with a voltage meter. If you have current, then you need to replace the horn. If you don't, then I would inspect the wiring and the relay.

If a fuse is not the culprit for your window, then you need to take the door apart and check the current from the switch to the motor, if you have current when you flip the switch, you may have a dead motor. If you don't have current, then you need to check the fuse again and insure you checked the correct one or it may be a faulty switch. If the switch isn't faulty and you get current to the motor, then the motor may be bad.

If all of the window electronics check out, then it may be a mechanical problem with the window regulator

Why wont my widows roll down?

If the switch and fuse is good, than that means the wiring is broke or else the window motors are bad

Drivers side window wont close - completely open

If other windows work, it won't be the fuse. Probably switch on door, wiring at door hinge area, or motor. Did you try banging on the inside of the door panel about half way down while hitting the switch, or pulling up on window while someone pushes the switch? That's providing you can get a grip on the glass. Sometimes motor will hit a dead spot & sharp blow to panel, will get it moving again until better fix can be done.
