Question about 1997 Dodge Neon
I can from first thru fifth, but want go in reverse.
Since it's a manual transmission, the synchronizers are probably worn out. When you want to put it in reverse, SLOWLY let out the clutch while trying to put in reverse; it will usually glide in and then will allow you back up as you normally would.

The reverse gear is burned out you need to either rebuild the tranny or replace the tranny
