Question about 2012 Ford Focus
I change the battery and starter.. but it was same problem.. how can i solve this problem? should i change the pcm?
Are you getting power to the starter , no do not change anything else , should have not changed that , stuff , do not just change parts . when you turn the key , is the dash lighting up, are your headlights coming on , if not and you have a good battery and starter , ck the wire on the back of the alternator , and make sure it is hot should be hot all the time , I mean 12 volts, the red wire , how is your ground wire , if you are not getting any power with the key on and the battery is good and the starter is good and you cked all the wires to make sure none broke , could be you ignition switch , but have to know exactly what it is doing with the key being turned to start . Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
