Question about Cars & Trucks
Replaced steering sensor, had connections cleaned, some wire replaced at dealer.
This sensor and others detects play in the stearing etc
and is all controlled by the ecu
you need to clear the fault in the ecu and start its diag again to confirm its clear
otherwise something is worn and needs replaced usualy rubber balljoints etc ... something in the rack... etc.. like rod ends

this vehicle uses a steering control module and the antilock control module. Both modules get a signal from the steering angle sensor. We found that the steering module didnot show a steering sensor code but the ABS module did show the code.
after checking that the wiring was intact and with good continuity, it was determined that the fault lies in the ABS module.
A new ABS module and configuration confirmed the diagnosis. It's fixed!

That normally means that you have a issue with your gas cap try replacing your gas cap first then diconnect the negative terminal of the battery for about three minutes to clear the memory and start the truck again

The problem is the wheel bearings that have the ABS sensor attached. Check the computer for the code as there is also an up date for the wiring sytem with a jumper for $60 fix that possible could solve the problem.
