Did you reconnect the neutral safety switch wire (that is if you have an automatic trans)? And, if you have an auto trans did you get the right solenoid with the extra stud for that wire? And is the wire connected to the third stud?

Did you give or get the jump start? (makes a difference sometimes) I'd check the battery voltage and alternator output (after you get it started). Sounds right now as if there is low battery voltage or a bad battery connection (or bad block ground). Check that and work from there.

Distributor roatation is clockwise; odd cylinders are on left side of vehicle with #1 at left front.
