This might not be much of an answer,, But why do you think your DRL is ,gone,,, Do you have HIDS? led tail lights or after market bulbs anywhere in you running lights system, such as turn signals front or rear marker lights corner lights etc, if you do have Hids or leds,, and you didn't put in resistors in line with the lower wattage led bulbs you car can throw the drl light, like turn it on., and with daytime running lights you will short out the hids, since they are not meant to run at say 4 volts like the factory non hid ones that are dim when the running lights are on.... I don't know if my answer will help you but I hope it does.. good luck

Where is the DRL relay located?

There is no DRL relay , has a lamp control module .
The daytime running lamps (DRL) activate under the following conditions:
?€¢
The ignition switch is in the RUN position.

?€¢
The ambient light sensor indicates daylight.

?€¢
The vehicle is not in the PARK position.

When the above conditions are met, the lamp control module (LCM) supplies battery positive voltage (B+) to the low beam headlamps through CKT 589 (GRY), the DRL resistor, and CKT 12 (TAN). The DRL resistor reduces the voltage supplied by the LCM. The low beam headlamps light at a reduced intensity. The DRL disable if the vehicle is placed in the PARK position. When the ambient light sensor indicates darkness, the low beam headlamps automatically switch from a reduced intensity to a regular intensity.

Daylights not working

10A fuse 16 in the central junction box supplies power to the DRL module. 15A fuse 15 in the battery junction box (BJB) supplies power to the DRL relay. DRL module output passes through 15A fuse 12 in the BJB and 15A fuses 2 and 3 in the BJB and is applied to the headlights. If all fuses are OK, the problem may be in the DRL relay, the DRL module or associated wiring

Daytime running lights not working

Assuming this is an LX, check 7.5A fuses 9 and 5 in the driver's underdash fuse/relay box. Fuse 9 applies power to the DRL indicator light in the gauge assembly which connects to the DRL control unit. Fuse 5 supplies power to the DRL control unit when the ignition is on. Also check 100A fuse 41 in the underhood fuse/relay box which supplies power to the headlight relays. Setting the headlight switch to HEAD causes the headlight relays to close and apply power through 20A fuses 45 and 43 in the underhood fuse/relay box to the low beams. Low beam power also passes through the DRL diode to close the high beam cut relay and prevent high beam use during DRL operation.

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. headlights are not working....

Does your car have daytime running lights? It may be the drl module. The relays are part of the IPDM (intelligent power distrubution module) and are not serviceable. If the drl module is faulty the symptoms are, no drl, and one or more lights not working. Usually not grounding within the drl module.

Day time running light problem

The problem with the DRL issue describd in the above posts is the DRl module(it needs to be replaced). The buzzing relay and intermittent on/off of passenger side DRl are indicators that the module needs to be replaced.

Where is the module for the day time running lights on a dodge ram B 1500? 1996

Notes CIRCUIT OPERATION - CANADA
On Canadian vehicles, the low-beam headlamps operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the headlamp switch is OFF.

When the ignition switch is in the START or RUN position, circuit A1 from fuse 15 in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) connects to circuit A21. Circuit A21 powers circuit F18 through fuse 19 in the fuse block. Circuit F18 feeds the Daytime Running Module (DRL) module.

Circuit L20 from the headlamp switch connects to DRL module. Circuit L20 is HOT at all times.

The DRL module receives the vehicle speed sensor input from circuit G7. Circuit G34 from the DRL module provides power for the high beam indicator lamp in the instrument cluster.

Circuit L4 powers the low beams of the headlamps. When the headlamp switch is OFF, the DRL module powers the low beams on circuit L4. When the headlamps are ON, the multi-function switch powers the low beams on circuit L4.

Circuit L3 feeds the high beams of the headlamps. When the operator flashes the headlamps with the stalk of the multi-function switch, the DRL module senses voltage on circuit L3. When it senses voltage on circuit L3, the DRL module stops supplying power to the low beams on circuit L4.

Circuit Z1 provides ground for the DRL module.
