How to stop nosebleeding

Decide the cause of the nose bleed
If it follows a blow to the head and the blood is thin and watery it could indicate leakage from the brain.
Fresh bright red blood would indicate a ruptured blood vessel in the nostril.
Sit the patient down
Lean the head forward to allow the nostrils to drain.
Breathe through the mouth
Pinch the nostrils to stem the flow, keeping the head leaning forward.
Hold this position for 10 minutes. Repeat, if still bleeding.
When bleeding stops, avoid exertion and blowing the nose.
If bleeding persists after 30 minutes seek medical advice

04 toyota 4 runner shifter makes a noise like a fan hitting something then goes away after i shift it back and forth a few times?

Check and bleed the clutch as it appears that there is insufficient dis-engagement of the clutch and the shaft is still spinning . This is causing you to hit the dogs in the gear box and grating the gear teeth.

How to bleed coolant system on 2000 impala 3.8

Hi Big Mizzel, I may be wrong but I do not believe that the cooling system on your vehicle has the provision for bleeding. If I'm wrong which is definitely not impossible, look at the coolant hoses and for a bleeding screw at the highest point. When the engine is cool open the bleed screw and then take off the radiator cap and insert a hose pipe into the radiator, with water coming out at a very low pressure. Observe the the coolant coming from the bleed screw and when all bubbles are cleared tighten the screw. If I am right about there not being a screw, lets look for some problems in other areas. When replacing the water pump and doing the head job did you also replace the radiator pressure cap? If that has become defective it may be pushing out coolant. If your vehicle is fitted with an expansion tank it would be likely that the coolant is transferred out but is failing to be drawn back. Another possible cause which relates to the problem you are having is the valve timing. When the head job was carried out and the re-installation was taking place, if the valve timing was aligned incorrectly by one or two teeth, that would cause just the overheating you are talking about, so please check that. Hope this has been of help. Regards John

Will low voltage cause the starter to spin but not engage

Sometimes the starter will really mess up the teeth on the flexplate/flywheel. Try spinning the flexplate or flywheel a lil to get to some fresh teeth. There are a few ways to do this, rock the truck while in gear, turn the crank with a socket and breaker bar, maybe spin the flexplate/flywheel with a screwdriver... if you can see the teeth you will see the damage first hand, sometime you can "live" with the damage, other times you have to replace the flexplate/flywheel,,, much more work, that is why I said "live" with it. The starter will miss the "good" teeth sometimes...

Need advice please

Bleed right side first...open valve on caliper and have someone step gently down on brake. close bleeder. repeat till no air comes out. Repeat on drivers side. Keep master cyl full while doing this.
Grinding noise can come from bad starter drive gear, bad flywheel teeth or misaligned starter. You have to check this...I can't see that far!!! Best way to see flywheel teeth is to remove starter and turn engine by hand while looking into starter hole.

Do you know where all your sensors are located for the ABS? One usually behind each wheel. Some on front near outer end of each drive/halfshaft. Rears, backside of backing plate area. On front,Look for the notches/teeth like around the shaft , where it goes into your wheel/spindle/bearing assembly. The sensor should be mounted close to those teeth.Take a small wire brush & clean the rust off the teeth, then take a small piece of emery cloth, or sandpaper & scuff good across the surface of the sensor that is pointing toward those teeth on the shaft. The sensors get their signal from those teeth when wheel is rotating, so too much rust or dirt between those could cause loss of signal, which trips ABS light. You have 4, but it only takes one dirty or faulty one to trip the light. I've saved some headaches & money by doing this on more than one occasion. Here in Canada, snow & slush can cause it too, so I zip to the carwash, blast water spray at rear of wheels in the area of the sensors, and yup, light is out. Not saying 100% this is your cure, but it doesn't cost nothing to try it does it, just your time.
