Question about 1997 Honda Civic
The check engine light appears as 1 long flash then followed by 5 short flashes. Car wont start once the check engine light comes on.
Code 15 is ignition output signal, an electrical problem. The engine computer sees no spark signals coming from the igniter. This is a good job for a Honda mechanic who isn't afraid of electronics.

P1361 TDC Sensor Intermittent Interruption (I got this from Engine-Light-Help.com)
TDC should mean Top Dead Center.
It is the sensor that tells the computer the #1 cylinder piston is at the very top. And therefore, fires the spark plug.
Since the maintenance done above, I believe the the timing marks for the timing belt is not lined up properly. Being off by one tooth will cause this problem.

It should be your brake light switch. There is a little plate welded to the arm of the pedal that has a hole with a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is most likely missing, or damaged. You should be able to take a flashlight and see the plate and the switch. If the hole is plugged up, you will need the brake light switch, if not, replace the plug.
