I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, and the radio/GPS no longer works. Any ideas?

I changed the fuses, but still no love.

Raise the hood and look at the diagram under your hood it will show you the belt routing so you know how to reroute the new belt you are going to need a ratchet wrench try and get a long ratchet so you can get some leverage the belt tensioner has quit a bit of tension on it and you will need a 15mm socket a deep well socket works well it gives you some distance so you wont be right up next to the engine and you will be able to grip your ratchet, next put he socket on the nut and push down on your wrench causing the pully to raise as soon as the tension is relieved slip the belt off and slowly let the tension off the wrench, dont let it snap back hard, replace the belt you tube may have a video clip that may help with the assembly its not that hard and buy doing it yourself you can save about $100 bucks make sure you buy a good belt Gates makes the best belts usually get 80 thousand miles from them.buy cheap get more headaches so don't scrimp unless you really have to good luck and God Bless

BLOWN FUSE/FUSES... OR YOU HAD A SHORT CIRCUIT OR HAVE YOU JUMPED IT RECENTLY? COULD'VE SHORTED THEM OUT..N\MORE LIKELY FUSES..EITHER UNDER THE DASH OR THE HOOD IN THE FUSE BOX..GET A TESTER AND TEST ALL FUSES ALL.. AND ALSO BLOWN A RELY FUSE WHICH IS A BLACK LOOKING CUBE.. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET THE CORRECT ONE.. TAKE IT TO A AUTO PARTS SUPPILER TO GET THE CORRECT ONE AND THE NEW ONES WILL NOT LOOK LIKE THE OLD ONES NEITHER..

What type of fuse is used for a 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer rear windshield wipers and where is it placed?

Your owners manual will give you fuse location and identification for the rear wiper. Most likely a wiper motor problem though. Turn on rear wiper and grab rear wiper arm and see if it will move at all. If it does move a bit or starts working....the motor is the problem

Try disconnecting the battery for five minutes to reset the computer. You might want to write down your radio station settings. Some radios retain memory and some don't.

How often do I need to get my oil changed in my 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer?

Well, that is a matter of opinion. I really prefer every 2500 miles. Your oil becomes contaminated unless FULLY heated up on every use. Oil can last a really long time, but failure in the oiling costs soooo much to repair, I just change more often. Perhaps costs less than a shrink....
