When I shitf from Drive to R, the neutral and R light stay light on together and the vehichle move suddenly. The diagnostic give the code P0705. Could you please tell me what problem is this and where does it located. Show me also the image of where the part is located.

I have a Mitshubishi Montero sport 1999 the transmision range sensor is malfunction. Where does it goes ?


Follow your shift cable down to the transmission, it will be attached to the end of it. Before that, clear the code and see if it comes back again. Could be just a momentary glitch.

Why does the neutral light blink 1999 mitsubishi montero sport


I had this issue. You may have a bad sensor on the transmission. There are a couple of sensors on there. When mine came on, It would not shift correctly. I would have to turn off the car, sometimes, and restart it for it to correct.
