I lost keys to 77 dodge.if i take the door lock off and take it to a lock Smith Wood it work for the ignition? Key is the same.and if so how do i remove it?

.You need to disassemble the inside door panel. It is held to the door with a couple of screws and several clips on the back side of the panel. The lock is attached to the door with a horseshoe type clip that will slide away from the lock cylinder from inside the door. There will be a rod attached to the cylinder with a metal clip that you will also have to disconnect. It may be easier/cheaper to change the ignition cylinder and have new keys ( supplied with cylinder ) than go to lock smith

Unlock steering wheel & ignition cyclinder to replace it with new one

double posted backup one (i gave 3 choices there)
define cant. (cant figure)
or the anti-theft bolts confusing you , the FSM covers all that
why not read that first. then ask questions.

to make cars not easy to seal they make it like this,
90 to now.
it needs to be removed the whole assembly.
anti theft bolts, off, , assmbly off, may take steering wheel off too.
the hand to lock smith (just did a 91) and he
uses special smith drift pins to drive the hidden (backside away from thieves, internal lock pin, he tumbler comes out or he drills it out.
then a new pin, and holding new tumbler, and then test it , ok ,
the reversses all above.
the fsm covers this all step by step, why must you avoid books.
or read alldata.com

Driver Side Mirror

You already talked to a dealer,a body shop & lock smith

You know no one wants to touch those mirrors

You said the body shop can't figure it out,yet you ask the question!

You compare the price of a new one verse a salvage yard part, plus painting

Why not call the mirror manufacturer & ask ? Their in china,so that
possibly is a no go

2008 sequoia jbl no sound

my guess, is you didnt read the operators guide.?????
and the warning, "back all NAV and RADIO codes", so when
the battery dies, (it will) you dont need to go to the dealer.
posted 30 times.. now. just me and 1000 others, (i searched)
so if the battery died, the radio shuts down the amp. but
you can see scans work. ?
it does this because (all newer cars) to stop thieves.
they pull the battery, and horn , take the radio , and bingo its just a brick to them , in fact we call it, bricking the radio.

any dealer can give you the code or any certified lock smith.

its a new world, and i bet we both dont like it....

How do I replace motor mounts on a 1989 Honda Accord LXi 2dr? Am I suppose to support the engine with a jack by the oil pan and if so, should I put a piece of wood between the jack and the oil pan to not...

You got it
Wood under oil pan
May need a long pry bar also
Just don't pry on any aluminium items, trans case
& such.
Do all motor & trans axle mounts & be done with
not having to come back there ever again
Support the car with jack stands & be careful when
raising the engine some, that the sub frame stays
on the jack stands & only the motor moves just
enough to get the mounts out.

Brake pads

The part that is hitting it is the brake caliber. The piston needs to be pushed back in. Get a 4-inch clamp and a piece of wood and put the wood over caliber, then clamp and tighten and push the piston back in.

2004 Honda Pilot, passenger side motor mount is leaking fluid. I can get to the bolts easy enough, but do I have to support the engine while I remove & replace this mount, or will the engine be...

yes i would highly recommend you support the engine to prevent the engine from lowering to much. you will also need to support it so you can install the new mount. use a jack with a block of wood-as wood is softer. it is perfectly safe to support the engine with the jack and wood under the oil pan.
