2003 duramax diesel-what is the warranty on the injectors?

There was a recall and notice/letter sent out. The bad thing for you was it has had to be done within 7 years or so many miles. They only replaced them under certain conditions as well. Not sure of your symtoms but below is the bulletin sent out to technicians as well as some phone numbers you may try and call. Maybe if you raise enough cain they will do something. I have a copy of the leter that was sent out but it was to large of a file size to post on here due to a size limit here on fixya. Hope this helps in any case.....Good luck because I know that is a costly job not only in parts but I think it list for about 8 hours in labor as well but don't quote me on that. Just going by memory which isn't the best.....

Is the egr valve covered under gm's 200,000 mile warrentee

You can call GM customer service at 1-800-222-1020 to find out for sure.
I think the original warranty was 5 yrs 100,000 miles for most engine and emission components. There was a law suit on the injectors and that item was extended to 200,000 miles.

How to replace pressure control solenoid p2616 toyota matrix 2007

You may not have to replace it yourself. I hope your car is under 80,000-100,000 miles there was a recall issued for that problem.
P2716 is caused by a bad Ecm, (engine control module,) Toyota has an upgraded ECM for this and are warrantying these for 8 years or 80k miles, Take it to the dealer and have them replace it for you, there should be no charge if the vehicle is under 80k miles according to service bulletin (41554a).

On 2005 duramax injectors, is there a recall on this issue

05 duramax injectors have gone bad I'm told because the ecm has gone bad. Is this the case or I'm I being told a crock? They say it needs 4 injectors. While I was driving down the road it started missing and then it would quit and start missing again. After about 6 miles it died. After changing the fuel filter and priming the system it would not start unless assisted with gas vapor. It will run for a few seconds (20 or so) very rough with no power at all and then would die. Does Chevrolet have any recomendations or will they give any assistence with this problem. I don't think I'm the first person that has had injector problems with the Duramax .

Thanks

Pcv valve location

can't help you with a bad head gasket, however if the car had under 100,000 miles on it the dealer should have done the repair. It was still under warranty. the car came with a 100,000 mile drive train warranty that is transferrable from owner to owner. as for the location of the pcv valve, that's easy the car does not have one

2003 GMC Duramax Diesel won't start

I see that you had the injectors replaced 20,000 miles ago. I would still check the oil to make sure it is not overfull. The new injectors could be bad. If the oil level is not overfull then get a paper towel and touch the dip stick tip on the paper towel while oil is on the dip stick. If it's only oil it will not spread. If it has diesel in the oil the oil with spread. If this test doesn't show the injectors to be bad then you have three other possibilities. The FICM (fuel injection control module), the fuel pressure regulator, or the injection pump. It's hard to pinpoint what the problem is without running more tests and the only way to run those tests is with the computer the dealership has. Just so you know your injectors are still under warranty until 100,000 miles. Most likely you will have to take it to the dealership to get you truck fixed. I hope this helps you some.
