I have a 1997 dodge van i need a radiator, how much am looking to pay for a new radiator?

depending on what part of the country you live in 100-290 for the radiator. check out ebay, they have smokin deals on radiators and they usually ship free with like three day delivery cause the local radiator chain nearest you will pickup the order. labor for that vehicle properly quoted should be 1.8- 2.4 hrs to replace. whatever the shop rate hourly.

06 dodge caravan or 07 uplander which is the better van? Which has more problems? thanks Eric

these are both good vans. i think the caravan may have a slight edge when it comes to cost of ownership, and also has a few less common issues. whichever choice you make though should be safe. go for the better deal for the mileage etc.

The oddometer works but the speedometer doesn't in my 1992 Dodge Ram pickup. The gear that sits inside the transmission is not stripped and engages fine. Can the problem be somewhere other than the...

Could be a bad cluster. If one is cable driven, and the other electric. You could have a bad speed sensor in the transmission which will make the speedo not work.

Leak near the gasget on my van

Its always a good idea to replace the thermostat housing every few years as they warp,if you dont have the extra cash you can remove the leaky one,and put the new thermostat in the block put a thin layer of good silicone around the stat, take another thin layer and apply it to the housing then you really dont need a gasket but you can still use one with this method, replacing the old bolts is a good idea also and that way you can tighten them correctly with no fear.have a good day DB

Solar battery charger

Yes, but the efficiency of solar cells is terrible. Its one thing to use free sunlught to charge the cells, its another to have to pay the electric company to do it. If you can access the batteries in the solar rig easily and they are in the correct voltage range, I think you would be better off getting a battery tender (trickle charger). Just let the van sit outside until the batteries are fully charged, then connect the battery tender to keep it fully charged.
