Check the horn fuse first? if not why not? fuses are always first.
reg 10 is UK only code for 2000 year,
and all cars have air bags, and im sad posters here dont say
do not monkey that horn , or risk getting killed when the bag explodes and you are there 12 inches or less 30CM
dig? why not buy the FSM. and read the horn repair chapter
it has all those warnings, and how to defeat the bags first
on some cars , pull battery neg lug, for 1hr, then work.
and point 2 why not diagnose the car front to horn switch first.
avoiding the kill zone, see? is this clear?
so lets do that. ( I have no schematics for UK cars) im in usa.
ok mate,(ship mate?) here in usa a mate is wife. so no kisses.....

clean the horn ground first.
the horn, put any voltmeter made, ever.
measure, the horn to wire to ground.
(does horn work in UK , key off?) if not key on.
then have wife mate, hit horn button.
then you see 12vdc across the horn.
from body metal to horn hot term.
ok 12v, horn bad or ground rusty.

no ok , i get 0vdc honking,
so find the horn relay, omg, car has 2 horns and both are dead.
must be the relay, so we check the relay, a very old
Jules Vern idea, no?
a coil and contactor, (like seen in Frankenstein movies ) only smaller. Its just a relay , some have them other cars not. (look)
it's got 4 pins.
2 are coil.
2 are contactor (a simple switches, normally open0

no schematics, but you can get one , at Suzuki parts any time.

i put the meter on the 2 coil pins (across we say)
horn button pushed, got 12vdc , relay is bad.
horn pushed, 0v at coil , horn button or worse the freak'n air back coil spring is bad. ($$$$$$) &- risky.

i will not attempt to tell you, how to fix the button, or coil spring,
as that varies by model and year, and country, (laws)
and is risky,
see all those air bag recalls. ever wonder why,
and 10x that for mechanics with zero training,
and 100x on electric cars.

all tests with meter on 20vdc range, and black lead at battery must lug or at body steel metal . (scrap to get clean metal)

the air bad coil spring.
this device allows many signals (wire) to pass from body of car to steering and not break, after all wheel turns 360 degr. easy.
some cars are insane complex (radio buttons on wheel, yah)
this device many pass (will) air bag deploy wires (boom die)
and horn and xxxxx, (Read the FSM factory service manual and stop guessing)
and win.

be safe.! 1st.

clock spring, or it can be just a bad wire. we use the DMM meter to find true cause and not replace expensive parts, for no gain.

One assumes you have checked the fusebox as a first resort.the horn mech is on tiny springs so don't just rip off the airbag to see if this is where the fault might be.the wiring loom from the horn or even the alarm which has been deactivated can silence some horns.

One other thought, run wires off battery directly to horn to see if it

works with bypass.then you know the problem lies in the circuitry between supply and delivery.

Where is the horn on my 2012 suzuki swift

I have a 2010 Swift and I believe they are the same build/ design. The horn is behind the passenger side black driving light surround on the front bumper. I imagine that there would just be a black cover if you don't have driving lights.
I just mounted a Jeep Grand Cherokee horn behind the driving light as the stock one is SO wimpy. =)

Hard steering

It is normal for a car without power steering to be difficult to turn the wheels when the car is stationary or at very low speeds. Once you are moving above say 10 mph the steering should be fairly easy.

1995 buick lesabre horn goes off randomly and have to hit the steering wheel for it to stop

the contact in the steering wheel is shorting out, all you can do is replace it,, however,, any time your messing with the steering wheel or anything associated with it, you must use extreme care,, prior to doing anything, disconnect the Neg battery terminal,, then the positive one, and wait 10 minutes, this will allow the air bag system time to discharge, the last thing you need is the air bag going off, once this has been done, behind the wheel, there will be recessed screws that hold on the face of the steering wheel cover,, remove those, and pull off the cover gently,, your going to have a single wire, ( there are others, But your concerned with the single one, that's for the horn) make sure that is secure . if it seems that wire hasn't worked loose then your problem is going to be in the contacts on the horn buttons, some of these are actually molded into the cover and can't be replaced,, which would mean you have to replace the cover itself,,

How do I remove the steeringwheel from a 1997 toyota tacoma v-6 4x4

you must removwe the airbag first. disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes before you start. on th sidecover of the steering wheel you will find two covers that you must remove. underneath these covers you will find two # 30 torx screws. loosen these screws. they will not come all the way out. once they are removed lift out the airbag. carefully disconnect the airbag wiring. there is a 17mm nut holding the steering wheel on , remove it. at this point you can try to wiggle the wheel off but you will probably need a steering wheel puller. you would be much better off letting a professional handle this.
