P0444-Purge Control Valve - Open Circuit. This alone would not prevent the engine from starting. There is another cause for this "NON Start" condition.

The code means that the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) in your transmission is staying engaged after the computer has commanded it off. This could be caused by a sticking TCC Solenoid, By internal hydraulic pressure leakage, by a faulty Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit, or a faulty Powertrain Control Module.
If your engine has been stalling when you come to a stop - especially after getting off of the highway, then you probably have a sticking TCC Solenoid.
This really needs to be diagnosed properly to keep from spending a bunch of money on parts unneccessariily.

Your throttle position is different from the accelerator position, the computer reads both of these and they need to be within certain limits. The first thing I would do is turn key off unplug throttlr body and look over your plug terminals really well especially look and see if the gap in the female terminals all look the same, you want them fairly tight so that when the spade terminals are inserted into the female ones in plug you want them a tight connection. next I would remove snorkel hose from throttle body and clean you throttle body with rag w/carb orr brake clean, hold throttle blade open and wipe all the soot out and try again...you will have to have a scanner to clear code.
