the fuel filter is not in the tank, the fuel pump might be thats why you need the haynes repair manual to see where these items are located, fuel filters are usualy outside the tank on the fuel line and the fuel pump might be able to be accessed under your back seat or trunk, but you would need the manual to know for sure or look it up on a search engine
If you have a gas engine in your Dodge, then the fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and is a part of the fuel pump module. In theory it is a lifetime filter but should it need replacement the fuel tank would need to be lowered/removed and the pump module replaced. I don't believe you can buy the filter seperately but think it is a part of the fuel pump module. Hope this helps!
yes it is in the tank. but you can remove the rear seat to get to the fuel pump, instead of dropping tank. (2003 to 2005) kia sorento. fuel filter is inside tank and replaced with fuel pump as an assembly.
first check fuel pressure, guages sold at local auto store run $30-$50.. but it is a quick hook up and sorts out alot of maybe'sss.
if in fact there is no pressure you are likely correct in looking at a relay or the pump itself.. relay should be labelled with all the other in hood compartment..
whereas, the fuel pump is likely in the tank, so drop the tank, and replace.. they go for about $100 for a rebuilt.. don't forget to also change the fuel filter.. Subaru put the filter easily located in engine compartment.
