Push the buttons while the radio is powered off via the power button on the radio face.

How do I reset Change oil light

The reason that you can't get the pressing pedal three times to work is because you took out the stock radio. When you take out the stock radio you mess with its programing abilities. I hope you kept the stock radio because if you ever need work done to your car that involves programing certain things like your cluster you will need your stock radio back in it for it to work

I replaced my 2001 Range Rover battery and my radio stopped working. I have the code but no option to put in the code. Please let me know the steps.

most of radio need time to back to re-program , keep radio On for 40 mint or more this depend on how many time you try before , when it's on don't touch it until screan dislay (0000,) then you can re- prog. some moudle have buttom (prog. or search) after re-prog. most if you keep on for awhile it will come back by it self in programing .

I have a 1999 beetle. My wife was driving it and the radio shut off. she says it was acting like the battery died. But it all came back on without her restarting the car but the mileage counter had...

I suspect that you have a theft deterrant radio in the bug. Ialso suspect that the battery got disconnected somhow, probably a loose post connection, in which there was no electric power to the system for some time. A theft deterrant radio has a chip in it that is programmed to operate the radio. when power is lost to this chip for 30 minutes or more, that chip forgets its programming, thus anyone that steals the radio could not use it. The first thing you want to do is track down the gremlin that caused the power failure in the first place. That would be cleaning the insides of the cabel clamps with emery paper and clamp them tightly. The radio will have to be reprogrammed by a dealer as they are the only ones that have the programming equipment to do this.

Radio reads off and wont work

The anti-theft program has kicked in (usually activated by the wrong code being put in 2 times). Turn the ignition key to position 1, and turn the radio on. After 1 or 2 hours, the word code will be displayed. At this time, if you put in the correct code, the radio should work.

Radio Code and procedure to program it in

I am not sure what you want to program? The radio presets or the entire radio. I don't believe that you have to program a radio to a specfic vehicle from Ford in 2000. I think you can just swap them out and they should work. The 2006 and 2007 you have to program the radio to the vehicle. If you are just trying to set the presets just hold the button in for about 3 or 4 seconds and the preset will be on there. If you are trying to diagnose a problem with the radio then hold the preset #5 and #6 at the same time for at least 2 seconds and release them. It will go into a self test mode and check the system out. To exit the diag procedure wait at least 10 seconds from touching any other buttons then press preset #6 to exit. Good luck.

Radio changes stations by itself when memory seat buttons are pushed

It is supposed to change the radio settings to what ever was programmed at the time the program was set. Your van has settings that can be programmed to personalize more than just the seat. It stores the programmed radio station the seat settings and on some vans that have the power tilt steering it changes that too. If you do not want it change the radio settings you will need to store a new setup for the number that you use with the radio station you want.
