How do you remove HVAC cables from 2005 Subaru Forester to access removal of radio? I'm able to get bezel loose but unable to get to cables. My radio quit working--has power but no sound.

Hello,

The best way to get that bezel all the way out is to get a short phillips screw driver and remove the HVAC control screws from behind the bezel that are attaching it to the bezel and just gently bend the metal brackets outwards and away from the control head so it can slide out. This is the most effective way to remove the bezel to get to the stereo, unfortunately whenever you try to undo the cables themselves the molded plastic cable receivers always break... always... BUT... I would check to see if you have an amplifier fuse before you go any further. If all the features work on the stereo work except the sound it could just be an amp or a fuse. I hope this info helps!

How do you get to dash lights to replace

Almost all of the dash lights are located behind the insterment bezel, that is where the speedometer and fuel gauge etc are located. The bezel is held in place by screws and clips. You must remove the bezel to replace the bulbs. Check you owners Manuel for the correct type of bulbs you will need. When you remove the bezel pull back carefully, so as not to harm the wiring. You can even do this with lights on so you can see what bulbs are out. Most cars and trucks you just turn the bulb about half a turn and the bulb and with wiring come out. This sounds complicated and difficult but is not. If you think the wiring is not to good of shape then disconnect the the positive battery cable. Sense I do not know what year and type of Toyota this is some what vague. You can purchase a Manuel for your vehicle, at any parts store for around $20.00.

Installing Dash light bulbs in a 1993 S-10 Blazer

To replace the blubs you have to take out the insterment cluster. This is done by romoving the light switch trim plate and disconnect the wirering harness. The remove the A/C heater control panel. Remove the plastic trim from around the insterment cluster. The unbolt and remove the insterment cluster and uplug the wires and the speedometer cable. This speedometer cables can be a pain in the **** but depress the spring clip and pull. The bulbs are accessed from the back of the cluster.
Bulbs in this cluster don't burn out very often and if none of the bulbs don't work it probley isn't the bulbs. In this cause make sure the dimmer switch is turned up if it is play with the switch see if the dash light flicker.
Oh also in the mauals they always tell you to disconnect battery when pulling electrial apart.

Can't figure out how to remove inside door handle bezel on 1995 K2500 6.5 TD

Removing the bezel is with a small flatblade between the door handle and the bezel, there are two or three plastic clips that you gently pry towards the outside of the bezel while pulling out on bezel. Don't try this when the car is in cold conditions if possible as the plastic is more brittle then. Best to do inside heated garage or after heating up bezel somewhat.

Removing radio from 2008 f250

First you will have to remove the bezel around the radio. This bezel will also be from top to bottom. The bezel is snapped into the vehicle. Pry it out very carfully. Clips will be located at the top, middle, and bottom of bezel. Once snapped out, unplug harnesses so that you can easily work with radio and will help with not scrathing bezel. Once the bezel is out of the way, there will be four screws, 7mm or 9/32 use either socket size, that will be holding radio in place. Remove screws and then pull out radio. Use an aftermarket wire harness to make your installation easier. Install bracket and radio using screws removed and resnap bezel in place.
