Year make and model? Some vehicles you can remove the grill and get to the latch. Others you have to go from the bottom of the car to get to it. Most times you will have to cut the cable with heavy duty wire cutters. Then cut the sheathing off the inner cable. Pull the inner cable to open the hood.

the hood latch is stuck.U can try tapping on the hood by the latch while slowly pulling up on the hood.Or u can climb under the car and push the lock lever back and that will pop the hood

remove front grille then you have to fiddle about with the catch it is quite tedious but the only way or take to a dealrship

Try smacking down on the hood with a open hand.You may want to have someone inside to pull the lever while you hit on the hood.If you do get it open spray everthing down with a good lubicant.Well good luck and hope this helped.
