Was the Brakes just changed, and if so was they bled. If the ABS is messing up the light would be on in the dash. If your getting back preasure when your stepping on the Brakes you could have air in system, they need bled. sometimes to reset there is a ( I call a little Nil) on brake cylinder just below where you put oil in, while someone steps on brakes you take something with a flat edge andpush the nil in at same time. It sets the equal Preasure of front to back of brake s.

There's a pulsing feeling in the brake pedal when I press the brakes. There's a noise as well. it's not the ABS.

Do you feel the pulse at the steering wheel. Replace the front rotors. If not the rear rotors or drums. Which ever you have. Some is warped. Just a note. Just because the ABS light isn't on. doesn't mean it couldn't be part of that system.

If it feel hard to break and have the abs light on it could be just the front sensor?

I don't think hard brakeing is affected by the ABS system. ABS only kicks in during a panic stop. Hard brakeing could be caused by many things, but the system is really pretty simple. I would check the pads (or shoes) first to make sure there is adequate material for the brakes to work properly and there is no contamination of the rotors or drums. If those look good, it is probably a problem with the master cylinder. Brake jobs are not fun, but well within the scope of a weekend mechanic. A master cylinder is on the border of what you should tackle. Remember, these things stop your 2 ton car for you, you need for them to work properly.
Try your library for a repair manual on your Pacifica, and look into the brake section for more info & troubleshooting ideas. Libraries used to have a large section of auto repair manuals, they were in great demand at one time. If you come up short at the library, try the internet. You could always try to buy a manual from Amazon too.

Master cylinder and/or brake booster could be the problem. A tiny bit of air in the system will effect your braking abilty. A fault in the ABS system would prompt the computer to trigger the ABS light. If you have brake shoes on the rear, make sure they are properly adjusted. Hope this helps.

Brake pedal vibrates while braking and doesent stop right away

There's speed sensors at each wheel. You may have got some contamination in front of one of them... sounds like the abs is trying to compensate for un equal speed at each wheel... and something may be blocking a proper read at one of the wheels...

ABS and Brake Light on

Sounds like you have a bad sensor. No you can not hurt anything by driving with the light on, but you do want to try to keep your warning lights clear

Did you "scuff" up the front rotors??? Sounds like the may be "glazed". Also if the rear drums did come off that easy I suggest adjusting. You should feel very slight "drag" when you spin rear drum. Good luck
