Loose connection some were or you have lost the grounding to that tail light. sometimes it't within the tail light itself.

Do you own a test light? Check for power at wires behind socket? Clean socket good , check contact spots for bulb & clean any rusty side of the socket with emery cloth, or sandpaper, for good contact also.

SOURCE: Tail break lights don't work. Window break light does work however. Bulbs have been replaced.

Check the brake light fuse. The high mounted brake light (third brake light) is on a different circuit than the brake lights. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: fuse keeps blowing dash lights and tail lights dont work jeep cherokee sport 1999

There are several fuses involved. I need to know which one(s). As for the taillights, the primary power source is 20A fuse 17 in the power distribution center. The tan/blk wire connects to the headlamp switch which, in park position, applies +12 volts through 10A fuse 7 in the junction block to the left tail light. The headlamp switch, in park position, also apples +12 volts through 10A fuse 23 in the junction block to the right tail light.

I need to know which fuse is blowing the instrument lights so you will have to follow up

My left side tail light doesn't work after changing the lamp. Jeep 2007 - Commander

it worked before the change out?
there are 3 things that are first. on advance electronics, cars. like this. 2007 is 1st year, of wild complexity.
  1. check fuses first. MIP fuse #8,9,10 (8 is left) check that?
  2. check action of park relay
  3. check for trailer wiring hacks (do you have factory hitch option?)
  4. and scan the PCM , do you see any park fail DTCs'
DTCs are system errors.
that is first.
next if not solved, we look in the FSM for that chapter, and the schematics, to see how its is structured. (varies by year, car)

FSM JEEP XK 2007 (book)
factory service manual.

left side rear tail (park) (tail is old name , car has many park lamps now , not just 1 or 2 tails like in the old days.
so it park and the relay of same name.
there are front parking lights too... do those all work>?

my guess, is you didnt check fuses first.
am i right?
fuse 8 is blown?
but that takes out front left park
and left side marker (park ) lamps too.
so did you look at all left park lights first>?

i bet not, if im wrong then you do have wiring errors.
or the new lamp from china is shorted inside, (common)
try one more lamp , like from GE or Philips.

Return the vehicle to the Uhaul dealer and demand that they repair it. It is evident, by your description, that they bungled the job. If they refuse, contact the Better Bussiness Bureau in your area and have them contact Uhaul. Most Uhaul dealers do excellent work and they have a great reputation....so try and work with the rep and they will most likely fix it for you for free this time, since they didn't get it right the first time. Best Wishes
