Question about Ford F-250
I take it that you have pulled the oil pump off the engine for some reason and now want to make sure that it will pump oil when the engine is started . If that is the case take the end cover off the pump body and fill all around and in the teeth spacings with Vaseline or clean grease. This fills up the spacing between the gears and the body where the oil is moved and creates the vacuum necessary to suck the oil up from the sump. The grease or Vaseline will melt down and intergrate with the oil.
