The top hose should be hotter than the bottom because the radiator cools it down before it comes out. if you engine temperature is normal, its o.k.

Sebring thermostat

I vaguely recall a bleeder on the intake or close to the top? Trapped air will make it overheat again.

My 2004 Chrysler Sebring just started overheating. I started to notice I wasn't getting any heat, not sure if the two are connected. Then the gauge needle starts to adjust from middle to extremely hot. ...

first make sure you don't have white smoke coming out of tail pipe then check the radiator if it is cold after warmed up then you could go to the two main hose coming from the radiator be careful one could be hot follow the cold one ie water pump thermostat head gasket are as easy as a radiator cap good luck

Hell is hot and my car is too.........

If your bottom hose is ice cold, or room temp after the engine has already warmed up, the radiator is plugged. BOTTOM LINE. you may have to replace radiator. or uplug it ! your t-stat should be just fine. unless you think its full of ****.

I want to learn how to drain and flush my radiator. I need help on how to do so without making as mess

well its bound to make a little mess but you should have a drain plug on the radiator at the bottom towards the engine side on one of the 2 tanks (sides of radiator ) unscrew drain plug and let drain into a pail or pan ( 2 gallon ) after it drains remove lower radiator hose. use a garden hose and fill radiator and let it flush for a little, hook lower radiator hose back, tighten drain plug and fill with a 50/50 mix new antifreeze,

BMW 1995 318i - Car Running Hot

There is a blockage or leak in your cooling system. That may come in a few different forms:
Incorrectly installed thermostat
Water pump not functioning - you may see water dripping from the pump or a stain from the hole under the water pump.
Severely coroded hoses/coolant passages - if the fluid is brown and the inside of the radiator rusty
External leak - you would see fluid on the ground Internal leak - you would see steam/white smoke from the tail pipe or water in the oil (may look like chocolate milk or not), if the oil level is extremely high this would be a good indication
heater core bypassed

I would suggest to check the evaporator, normally found underneath the glove compartment. Check out the coils and the fan. While you are at it you can do some cleaning and see if it helps.
