Motor is consuming a lot of gas in a very short distance. 4 gals in 22 mins. On smooth water.


No year make or model. What is the size of the boat. Engine/s what size. And no codes or description of codes. Fuel injected or carbs. This is a car site. But I used to work on boats.

The 452 is low input and the 453 is high input.The EVAP system is completely separate from the fuel system, so it has nothing to do with the regulator.
If you follow your fuel lines, you will find three lines off of the tank: 1 is the fuel supply line (from the pump to the engine), 2 is the fuel return line (from the regulator to the tank), and 3 is an EVAP line. As the tank breathes (so you don't a vacuum or pressure built up in the tank), the EVAP systems job is to make sure the gasoline vapors from the tank end up going to the intake so they can be burned. The pressure sensors are there so the computer knows if the EVAP system is doing its job correctly.
Short Answer: The sensor measures pressure inside the tank. It tells the PCM there is a leak if it sees one.

I went to start my truck this morning it fired up for about 20 seconds then died so I checked to see if Mabey a little starting fluid would help start it and there was no spark does anyone have any id


It is apparently from a failure in you ingnition system. There is no way anybody can tell you which part of your ignition system has failed because electrical testing must be done to answer that question. Then one would also need to know what kind of ignition system we are talking about. Since you failed to mention the year, make , model, or engine size of your truck, there is no way to determine what type of ignition system you have.

My 1998 plymouth voyager came with abs brake system, can I change it over to manual brakes? If so what is the best way to do this?


To answer specifically, this kindof already happens if your ABS system is not working. When the ABS system is not working your brakes should go into a "manual mode". You could have the ABS unit removed and new brake lines installed, but for a 1998 voyager, I wouldn't bother. Keep in mind though, you don't have anti-lock anymore. So drive this vehicle accordingly. Don't slam on the brakes and be ready to ease up on them if they should cause the tires to slip.

Abs light came on ,now hear like what sounds like apump running. next morning battery was dead .it ran all night.


This is your electronic brake control module(ebcm).This is the module for the anti-lock brake system.The module is located on the inside of the frame just below the drivers seat area.The problem is the electrical part of the module.This is the top part of the module and you don`t have to disconnect any brake lines.It also isn`t in the easiest of places to work in.The 4 screws that hold it down are torx head screws and being in the area that they are in it can be difficult to remove because of rust.The other thing is this module is not cheap.If you don`t want it to drain the battery and don`t want to fix it right away then you can just remove the abs fuse in the under hood fuse panel.But you will not have anti-lock brakes.Just the regular brake system.If you do decide to replace it make sure you clean the area very good before starting because you don`t want dirt to get into the module when you take off the top part.Remember do not undo any brake lines.The fuse is a maxi fuse this means it is one of the big ones.Hope this helps.and let me know if you have any more questions.Good luck.

Look on the glove box door for a little white sticker with the code numbers on it.Use the numbered buttons to enter. Some code numbers are written down in front of the owners manual too. reply

Have dodge caravan se with 83.000 miles on it engine light is on with a code po455 po442 and car stalls while driving but will restart again, thats the only code that comes up.

These codes are part of your evaporative emissions system, and can be a real challenge to troubleshoot and repair. Most people start with a new gas cap, but end up checking hoses, charcoal canister, and evap control solenoid before all is well.

I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but at least some direction!
