Many things can cause it to stall out more info would be needed to give an accurate answer. If it stalled out and you did not put it into park it will not crank or have spark. Also if the battery became disconnected , again dead check to see if the lights work if so are any lights on the instrument cluster when you turn the key on for example theft or service engine. If it has a chip key and the theft light is on try your spare key also remove all other chip keys from your key ring sometimes they can interfere with the proper signal from your key. If this doesn't help next time send Year make and model with a complete description of your problem and be very detailed.

Car starts, drive down the road a mile starts to loose power , stalls, hard to restart runs a little stalls again

suspect the crank sensor, or ignition componets. and if there ok, it might be a leaking intake

Volvo 240 dl 1987 .. fuel issue....driving down the road, car

Sounds like you need a fuel pump. There is an access panel in the floor of the car to get to the pump.

1992 olds 88 stalls. after it sits for a half

Is the Service Engine Soon (or Check Engine) light illuminated on the instrument panel? If so, then have someone pull the codes and post them back here. Autozone will do this for you at no cost.Caution: don't purchase any parts after reading the codes on their recommendation! If no codes, then suspect either a bad crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor. There are other possibilities too, but these are primary. I have seen MANY bad crank sensors do exactly what your describe without setting a code.

Truck cuts off while driving down the road.

Replace the TFI module. Ford back in 1986 thur 1993 had problems like the one you wrote about. TFI module gets hot and shuts car or truck off then when it cools sometmies starts and sometimes not.

if there are no codes it could be a crank sensor. most common if it only happens after you go over 80klms per hour is the egr valve
