Try to drive for a while or hold it at a constant rpm. It should relearn the drive ability settings, if that doesn't work try removing the battery cable again for a while and reconnecting. If that won't work you may have to go to the dealer to have the computer re flashed

SOURCE: timing chain or belt

Yes.
It has a belt. Service interval is 90,000 miles. This is an interference engine, so belt failure will result in a scrapped engine.
Cost should be around $600-$700. I would recommend replacing the water pump as well, as the timing belt needs to come off to to replace the water pump, and I wouldn't trust the pump to last 180k.

Most likely when you washed the inside of your truck, you got water into a pin connector. This causes a short and ultimately a fault code in the brain. You will need to reset the fault codes in the computer, which I dont reccomend you try. NAPA has the computer if you really want to try, otherwise the dealer will do it. The EEC needs to be reset, especially after a battery disconect.

2003 Toyota Sequoia won't start.

Have you gotten this problem fixed yet? If not what is the condition of the battery cables( corrosion free)? Also how old is the battery? One dead cell could possibly cause this problem.
