Question about 1994 Oldsmobile 88
I sat down in my car and the right side of the back of the drivers seat reclined when I sat. It has power seats and now when I try to adjust them the motor only moves for a little bit before stopping and the seat doesn't adjust anymore also the motor only appears to make sound when the seat reclines back but not forward. when i sat it sounded like a little clunk occured and then it stopped working.
Sounds like the motor and gearing has worn out, they take a lot of punishment. Replacements are available (sometimes it works out much much cheaper to buy a whole second-hand seat). But that depends how much you like the car...

Check to be sure that nothing under, behind or besdie the seat is stopping movement. If you can get at the mechanism, check to be sure something hasn't fallen in that is jamming things up. Also, try things very slowly while not sitting in the seat and give it a little push in the direction you want it to go.
