Re: where is the airbag fuse light
You don't have a fuse that turns off the light for the air bag the info comes from the airbag computer to turn the light on Have the airbag circuit repaired and the light will go off. Otherwise if you were in an accident you would not be protected. If the light bothers and you are a risk taker there is always black tape .

If it is not the fuse then it is the airbag sensor itself, I am sorry to say but requires you take it to an airbag specialist due to the explosives contained within the steering wheel. This will be costly and may return in the future it did in the 1 I imported and had to fix 3 times in 4 years after the first fix. If this issue is not corrected and you are in a crash it will not deploy as the airbag sensor is faulty, this is why this light appears to begin with. Hope this helps.
2003 Chevy Silverado our rearview mirror has gone off and the airbag light stays on. i've determined that this is a fuse, the SIR fuse under the hood, but what I can't figure out is why it's blowing. It's either something to do with when we hook up the lights to the trailer or it might be from where we installed a new car stereo. I took it to the Chevy dealer for some other things and told them there was a fuse blown to the rearview mirror and to the airbag and just asked them to replace the fuse while it was in the shop. on top of the $700 i was already spending, they charged me $98 to diagnose that it was a blown fuse and like $11 to change it, even though I already told them it was the airbag fuse. Highway robbery. And they wonder why we don't like 'em.
If the electrical connector isn't plugged in the light will stay on. I 4got to plug mine back in after changing out heater core and it was lit til i had to take the dash back apart again. That'd be the only reason I know of, or maybe a fuse. Hope I was able to help.
check the fuse for the airbag, if you pull the fuse, or the fuse is blown the airbad light will stay on. and as far as the coolant low light, you cant reset it, it will go off automatically if the vehicle is full of coolant.. either that or the switch is bad.. hope this helps
The airbag light will come on and stay on as long as there is an active code in the system. It will go off when the code goes to stored. Active means, something is malfunctioning right now so we will turn the light on. Stored means, something malfunctioned but is working now so we'll store the code in memory and turn the light back off. You really need to have the codes checked for an accurate diagnosis.
I have a 2007 chevrolet silverado and my service airbag light came on. I was out camping with the sterio going and ran the batt low but their was enough juice to restart after about 10 min. On the way home the service light stayed on and i just fixed the problem which was a fuse under the hood in the main fuse pannel. It is very common due to low voltage on start up to blow a 15 amp fuse.
