2000 dodge caravan heater blowing cold air only car does not overheat

Feel the heater hoses where they go through the firewall. If they're both hot but you're not getting any heat, your blend door is not moving to mix heated air with unheated air. It could be the blend door actuator not working or the HVAC control unit not working.

1995 Dakota 2.5 cylinder. Runs up to the hot mark then comes down to about half. It continues to do this. Replaced the thermostat, coolant temp sensor and heat sensor for the temp gauge, has proper coolant...

I would flush the heater core out:

open the hood and look on the firewall. There should be 2 rubber hoses going into the firewall and into the truck. If factory they will have spring clamps just like on the radiator hose. Remove both lines. Then get a hose and put it in one line and run the water until it comes out clear. Then do the same thing with the other side. Do this a couple of times. Then reconnect the 2 hoses and check the level of the radiator. Then start the car with the radiator cap off and wait a while for the thermostat to open and have the heater on so it will cycle through the whole system. Then top off as needed. This should fix your problem Tim

I have a problem of 2002 dodge caravan the heater is blowing cold and less coolant fuild in radiator but engine does not over heat

it sounds like you need a thermostat replaced, and fill the coolantup. start by topping the fluid off, run it for twenty minutes, if you get heat, the problem was low fluid, i not, replace the stat, and fill withthe proper coolant after you are done. good luck

I have a 1995 dodge caravan and im trying to locate the air valve that contols the amount of heat for the heater?i have hot water going in and out of the heater core but my heat on the inside is luke warm...

240cpa is right.dodge caravan does not have a heater control
valve and coolant constantly crculate in heater core . use the temperature contorol on instrument panel if you notice no change in heat your blend door in heater box is not moving . and as 240cpa mentioned make sure the t stat is not stuck open.
