The Reduced Engine Power Light is on and does not have much power, what is the problem?

Take your car to your local parts store, and have the computer codes read. Check what the codes say is wrong, and you will have a start towards knowing what to fix. There are so many different things that could be wrong, that's why there are codes...

Its probably trying to tell you there's something wrong with the engine? Some ECU controlled engines go to a soft power mode to limp along with. Search for a manual or contact a dealer. I presume you have done all the engine checks?

Reduce engine power intermittent

Run a diagnostic test to see what codes come up and go from there.

My 96 dodge neon has no power to the igniton coil, and no cranking volts at the coil connector.

Th coil is powered by the auto shutdown relay which gets power from fuse 21 in the power distribution center. There will only be power for a second or two or anytime the engine is cranking. This same power is supplied to the fuel injectors. Check to see if there is power to the injectors on the dark green with orange wire while cranking the engine. If there is double check power to the coil on the dark green with orange wire with the engine cranking.

There is no engine power

What do you mean there is no engine power? Do you mean that the engine wont start or that the engine is running but lacks its normal amount of torque and hp?

Won't start. Engine turns over, but doesn't

CLARIFICATION: Starter 'CRANKS' but engine does not START?... .OK - There's no power steering or power brakes IF the engine is NOT running -- NORMAL condition.... engine MUST be running to ACHIEVE power steering and brakes... fuses have nothing to do with them...they are all MECHANICAL dependent on engine to be running. Did the 'Check Engine' Light come ON? Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE and perhaps eventually fix the problem.

Engine light came on and now power windows won't work

Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Research of the wiring diagrams indicate there is no relationship/connection between the Check Engine light (Engine Management System - EMS) and the Power Windows circuit. Check all your fuses (Passenger compartment) fuses 16 & 20 & fusible link (30 amp) supply power to the power windows (as well as to Stop lamp switch(cruise), head lamp, A/C relay.

I had the same problem with my 2003 denali and came to find out that it was the battery causing the problem. the battery with sufficient power will dictate the tps. if the battery is low or bad, it won't have enough juice to allow the tps to. work. get your battery checked.
