Question about Cars & Trucks
Nothing yet, I only put the water pump in on Sunday. I did however have to loosen 1 cam pulley to get the water pump in and I wonder if I did not jump a tooth on the timing belt?? I removed the crank pulley too, once again, maybe I did not tighten it straight enough or off alignment.
I would suggest tat you have the valve timing professionally checked Pinging ( detonation) is from air/fuel mixture and ignition timing and the sound may be from incorrectly adjusted /aligned tensioner pulley on the cam belt.
