How do i fix a flashing seat belt light on a 2012 nissan maxima 2.5s

Try pulling all the most used seat belts-- out-- a few times

If the light doesn't go off-- then you will have to look at the
SRS Module (air bag) for codes & diagnose a problem

Seat belt chime not working.


there is a tiny little box under the driver side dash that makes the sound.
No easy way to tell you exactly where it is, but it's under there.

CAREFULLY PRISE AWAY THE LOWER TRIM PANEL TO EXSPOSE THE SEAT BELT REEL AND CHECK FOR KINKS IN BELT .

1989 nissan maxima electriw windows and power seat belts stopped working . is there a relay for tis? Where is it located?


behind the driver side door panels, there will be a amplifier for the windows, in some cases, like mine, it only affects 1 window. get a new one. nissan uses the same one for alot of different cars so its easy to find. dont let a mechanic tell you its the window regulator. nissans are known for this problem. for the seat belts, replace the motor, they are cheap and an easy fix.

the most common cause of the airbag light is a defective rotoating ribbon contact under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the steering column wiring harness, the contact is called the clock-spring contact.

Flashing selt belt and air bag lights


Anything's possible, but don't buy the car if this condition persists. If the airbag was damaged, the repair cost is quite high.
And you will not be able to pass inspection if the seat belt light remains lit.

Does it have leather seats?? if so, you most likely need one of the side air bags. Most likely drivers side.
