Sounds like it needs regassing at auto shop.these things lose the volitaile gas pressure after a couple of years so it likely needs repressurising . About 60 bucks.

AIC (Air Idle Control) valve. They will get full of carbon and the plunger will not move freely. Sometimes they can be cleaned and work properly once again, but usually they need replaced,
