If you change ignition switch do keys have to be recoded.

Yes I do believe that the keys will have to be coded to the new ignition switch as the codes won't match with your old keys
Hope this helps Nick

Is the Honda Acty 1985 ignition key the same one as door key

with new cars it is normal to have the one key code for all the locks on the car
if your ignition key is different to door locks or boot lock it is possible that a new barrel was fitted at some time requiring a new key where the barrel should have been recoded to existing key
it is still possible that a locksmith can re code the barrel to the door lock key reducing the necessity of having many keys

2011 ford fiesta air bag sensor location

Which sensor are you looking for? Or are you looking for the control module where all the sensors connect to? The airbag control module (known as the Restraints Control Module (RCM)) is located under your center console (see picture below).

If the vehicle has been in an accident, you will need to have this module recoded/reset. Ford can do it, or you can mail it off to several sites that will recode it for you (I had it done recently for $45).

Hope this helps!

I need code for radio on my ford

If you haven't got the intruction manual where you would usually find it written in you'll need to either take it to a dealer so there can send it off to have it recoded or find someone local who can recode it for you, Radio Doctor is one I used! you'll save money if youn can get the radio out yourself! Not much else you can do. Did you buy it from a garage? you ould ask them they should of given it to you when you purchased the motor!

Neither of my keys unlock my car anymore, wondering why this is? it can't be that both batteries in the keys have died.

if its the remote plips you mean, then the car may need recoded to the plips if the car battery has been disconnected or changed recently.

Otherwise the keyblades should still open the doors, or the central locking controller is faulty.

I cannot open the doors on my BMW using the remote control or the internal button. I can only open the driver's door using the manual key. The remote control locks the door fine and triggers the alarm....

This is a common fault on the series 3 usually down to the General Module 5 or GMV relays breaking down. Item is situated behind glove box reasonably easy to replace. Cost from BMW about £240.00 Can be found through breakers about £60.00. Keys will have to be recoded. See for more info.
