Question about Cars & Trucks
I would take the belt off and grab each of the pullys and see if you have some play in anything. Most likely suspect would be the water pump or the tensioner assembly.

well if you loosen the tensor pulley, the belt will just about fall off, but look where it goes b4 you pop off, so it goes back same way

If the stickers haven't been removed, there is a routing diagram right on top of the radiator cowling or on the right front inner fender. One of your pulleys is a spring loaded tensioner that you move with a breaker bar or rachet or a box-end wrench, depending on the style of tensioner.

I have the passenger side seat belt which on occassion will lock in the retacted position It has done this twice but I was able to realease the belt moving the strap around. Now nothing I do will release the strap. Is there a mechanical problem I can look at or could there be an electricial issue
