Where is the starter on a 1993 lincoln town car and how do i change it?

the stater is under the car at the rear bottom of the engine the nose of the starter goes into the transmission bell housing, u must jack the car off the ground as high as poss to reach it, it is held in place by 2 bolts, there are electrical cables that must be removed as well, make a note of where each wire goes on the starter, make sure the battery negative cable is disconnected before u start, use jack stands under the car to avoid poss serious crushing injury.

The compressor is next to the air box on the driver side under a plastic cover. One plug, two hoses and 3 bolts that hold it down. The hose on the top of the compressor is a quick release. Push in hose and hold red ring at bottom, and it should pull right out
