Dtc 0700 jerks when shifting from reverse to drive

The transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transaxle controls.

What's your problem?error code 0128

DTC P0128 - Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)
This means that the engine's PCM detected that the engine has not reached the required temperature level within a specified amount of time after starting the engine. The intent of the P0128 code is to indicate a faulty thermostat. Similar codes: P0125

In determining the engine did not reach a "normal" temperature, it takes into account the length of time the vehicle has been running, the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor reading, the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor reading, and the speed of the vehicle. If have other request, just contact us about OBD Diagnostic Truble Codes.

Hope this helps.

Check engine light came on computer code says p0480 what does that mean ?

P0480 is for the electrical circuit of the cooling fan relay. The cooling fan relay is about the size of a deck of cards only a little taller. It's mounted to the metal bumper support under the bumper cover on the left side, near the headlight. It has aluminum cooling "towers" on top to dissipate heat. The most likely cause for this code to set would be a failed relay. It can also be caused by a short or open circuit on the control wiring running to it, and be sure to check all fuses in the box under the hood.

I have a 2004 Gmc Envoy putting out a code of 0128 what does this mean?

It means the car has not reached operating temp. The computer wants the engine a certain temp so it can go into "closed loop" where it fine tunes the fuel mix for optimum economy and emissions. If it cannot reach that temp it sets that code. You either have a low coolant level or a stuck open/missing thermostat.

P0171 just change the mass air flow light came on

Hi,

Volvo's code - P0171 means: Long-term fuel trim, part load. Long-term fuel trim, idling.

You will need to refer to a workshop manual, to ascertain the correct inspection procedure.

ENGINE MALFUNCTION LIGHT STAYS ON

If the light was flashing when it came on, then it means your engine is misfiring.

A solid light can mean anything.

This light comes on when the computer detects a fault of some sort in its diagnostic tests. If it keeps detecting this issue, the light will remain on. If the light turns off, then it has detected that the issue may no longer be present.

In order to find out what the exact reason was for your light, You need to have your car computer scanned to retrieve the code that the computer would have stored when the light triggered. Most garages will do this free of charge. The code will tell you what may have caused the light to initially go on

I have a toyota sienna 2002 but the malfunction indicator lamb is on. What will I do? I don't have the manual.

The indicator light means that the van's computer has detected an error(s)

Many auto parts stores will plug in a reader into the port under the steering wheel and tell you the error codes for free. These codes begin with P0 ,,, Look up the codes you get on the net. We have seen just about all of them with our 2001.

Get the codes first - then go from there.
