2002 xterra turn signals dont work...lights n fuse's are good..I think its the switch.. but I'm not a mechanic lol but the reason I said that is because before it broke I was driving and I almost missed a turn I pushed the brake fast and when I was turning I hit the signals fast coz there was a car behind me..then when I was drivin home that same night its started going off..Maybe there something broken in it?

First check the turn signal relay. If is not that. You may have broken part on the turn signal switch. If you due you have to replace.

SOURCE: brake lights/rear turn signals

I had the same problem with my 1999 Yukon. The electric board needed to be replaced. Rust starts to build up and shorts out or blows the bulb. The dealership charged $73.60 for the part and I installed it myself (Saved $30).

SOURCE: Brake light and turn signal light not working

Did the new lens come with new sockets? If not damage may have occured there that you cant see. only other possibilty is wiring damage in the rear that may be hard to see. The condition you describe is simple "backfeeding" if you look hard enough youll either find bad sockets or damaged wires close to the lens that took the hit. Hope this helped. Thanks

SOURCE: brake lights wont flash and turn signal wont flash

turn on the turn signals without turning on any other lights, first left, walk around the car, and see if there is a light that is not functioning, then right, and do the same. If there is a light that is not functioning, replace the bulb.
If all lights work, then its the unit flasher unit itself, and can be baught at a parts store, and is easy enough to replace in the fuse box of most cars.

SOURCE: 99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

The battery keeps dying on my 2001 nissan xterra. when the car is turned off the hot cable is still drawing fire from the battery causing it to die. I took out the security fuse and it fixed the problem,...

I guess its a common problem for xterras just to die when driving huuh lol.... just like all of you. i was driving and mine died at a stop light to lol.... people keep telling me that it might be the timing belt or distributor ( if you remove the distributor cap and someone turns the key a little, if the rotor spins that means the distributor took a dump.. and if the rotor dont spin the timing belt took a dump... i will be checking this out to see if its true this weekend..

Nissan 2001 Rear Running lights are out, as are the dash, interior and dome lights. I've heard it's one fuse, 15 amp, under the hood, next to the battery

I know of few cars that place fuses used for lighting (etc) in the engine compartment ...but what do know? lol... I would sooner think your problem is either a relay or fuse INSIDE the vehicle and in close proximity of the fusebox (the one that has the fuse for turn signals, dash, headlamps, 4-way flashers (which is a relay of course). Also, if it controls all of those items, I would be looking for a 20A fuse ....15amp sounds a little 'light'... Cheers mate!

TAIL LIGHTS DO NOT WORK ALL FUSES AND SWITCH HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND STILL NOT WORKING

First, you dont just go repacing things before you check if they are bad or not. So is the fuse good and is it getting 12volts? do the turn signals work? Hazards work? tag lights? power goes through the turn signal switch.
