The easiest way to clear a clogged AC drain is to find the end of the drain hose under the car. With a piece of flexible wire, run it gently up into the hose when the AC is running or has just been running. Don't use wire that is so stiff that it won't go around the curves in the hose or damage the hose. Usually a piece of insulated electrical wire about 20 ga. will work fine. Don't use a coat hanger wire! When you get to the clog you can usually feel it and water will begin to run out of the hose. Work on the clog until you break it up and the water flushes it out. The clog is usually a glob of dust. If the wire doesn't work or you don't have the correct type you can back flush the hose with a turkey baster. Back flush with clean water. Put a towell under the heater/AC unit in the car because the water is likely to leak out of the unit onto the floor. Thanks for using FixYa.
