Bught my ba xr6 2002 the other week . Was wondering why my radio wasnt making any sound found out the wires were all cut . Any one know how to wire them back to were they go???


try looking for your vehicles wiring diagram on google, or if you can take the speakers out it should be easy to splice the cut wires back together, just strip some insulation from the ends of the wires, twist them so that they're not frayed and then twist the two cut ends together, using black electricians tape to cover and protect them individually. also make sure that you're connecting them correctly. if both of the wires are grey, like the one pictured, one should have a black line going down the side of the insulation twist it to the other end with the same black line and your good. I hope this helped

Coolant leak


check hose clamps on the heater radiator. Check for cracked hoses or leaking heater radiator. Best way is to have a radiator pressure yest done and check for leahs as the pressure drops

In my 2002 Honda Odyssey, the high brake light is accessed by removing a small triangular red piece from the right side of the cover. This piece often breaks but I was successful by soaking the area with STP silicone spray, waiting 15 minutes and then prying the piece up in the slot on the left side with a miniature flat bladed screwdriver. You then remove the underlying screw amd remove the housing. Twist the bulb holder out and remove the bulb by pulling straight out. Push the new bulb in - I usually hold it in a paper towel because by this time my hands are dirty. Twist the bulb holder back in. Push the housing back in starting on the left side. Replace the screw. Put in the triangular piece starting with the right side clip. I then pry the housing open with my screwdriver very carefully to fit the left clip in. If you break the piece it's under $10 at the Honda dealer. The piece is not well designed but you can make it work if you're patient.

I need to change out the bulb for the turnsignal, can't find it, is it in trunk? a fuse panel? I have no idea


Open your trunk, pull down the liner on the side that the blinker is out. You will see a couple black plastic things going into the tail light casing, twist the one that needs replaced pop out the old bulb put the new one in. If you cant figure it out go to auto zone or Advance they will do it for you.

1998 ford f150 got error codes 171 and 174 i did must of the vacuum lines on the outside of the motor. everything ok . now i still feels like it has a vacuum leak. so this up coming wknd im taking it to...


follow the PCV valve hose around to where it attaches to the rear of the throttle body. These tend to melt on the inside bend area of the elbow.
If you spary brake cleaner around the idle will increase when the leak is found if it is a vacuum leak.
This elbow will set a code for both banks like you got.
Also a K/N filter can get the wires on the maf sensor dirty causing both theses codes. There cleanable with brake cleaner if they are dirty. Just use caution. They could be brittle being 10 years old maybe.

How to change fuel filter on 1993 6.5 L diesel engine


Twist the black ring CCW and remove.Then pull up on filter.Most have a little plastic tab.They usualy break off.Then install the new one.You may want to try and inspect the fuel in the bottom of the housing and if its dirty then **** it out or sop it up with paper towl.Try and fill it back to the same level with clean disel.Open the bleeder at the top and turn on the key until fuel comes out.

How can I replace the driver side head light


the drivers side is a piece of cake... on the passenger side you need to remove the clean air intake. its a big piece of black plastic behind the headlamp. pulls right up. no big. but you'll have way less room to maneuver than on the drivers side. If you're doing both start with the drivers side bulb to get a sense of whats going on. it's impossible to get a sense of whats going on on the passenger side.

locate the bulb and remove the power clip from the bottom. there is a plastic lock that you have to hold down while you push to casing down. i had to use the tip of a screwdriver to put enough force on the clip-casing to manage this.

now the hard part:
there is a black ring that locks the bulb into place. this has to be twisted (when facing the toward the car) counter clockwise. molded into the plastic are the words lock and open. twist toward open. this is a massive pain in the a**. i had to use a screwdriver to get a little bit of leverage, make sure you're only twisting the black plastic ring and not the bulb. the bulb does not turn.

once the ring is removed the bulb twists and comes right out.

follow the directions in reverse making sure not to touch the new bulb's glass with your fingers. apparently the oil from your fingers can shorten the bulbs life... or so i've been told.

it takes a little while and that damn lock ring is tough to get off. but its not that bad

The fuel door release on 2003 Honda Accord is not working.


Open the trunk and pull back the drivers side liner inside of the trunk. You can follow the black cable to the fuel door. When you reach a black wing tipped connector you twist the 90 degrees and it will pop out and the door will open.
What was the original problem?
