Why is my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Track not cranking ?

It has 91,000 miles. I do not drive it every day. The ignition turns on and so do all panel lights. It has power. When I completely turn it over , it acts like it is trying to crank but doesn't. It makes a loud rumbling noise and shakes the motor area.

Hi there
If nothing has been touched on the car then its sounds like the battery or starter motor is faulty Plus you might have a loose exhaust system and or engine mounts are :loose/soft/or rotten.

Sounds like you need a new battery. You should get the battery tested and the charging system.

To rule out a broken timing belt, remove distributor cap and crank intuition. If the rotor is not rotating, it's the belt.

2003 ford explorer sport blinker dont blink on the dashboard... How do I fix it??

if the bulbs on outside are ok, and it will not flash on dash and stays completely lite up. replace the turn signal flasher. Look under the steering column and locate the fuse box. The fuse box is under the plastic kick panel. Under the panel is a yellow case that holds the turn signal relay. Test that this is the relay by turning it on and placing a finger on the relay. You should be able to feel the relay clicking. Pull the relay from the socket and plug a new one back in. Reattach the kick panel and start the Explorer. good-day !
