Question about 2006 Toyota Avalon XL
The power outlet in the center console does not make consistent contact with any cellphone chargers. I have tried 4 different chargers. I want to remove the power outlet so I can check the connections on the back and inside of it.
Try some of the Toyota parts outlets on the internet. Some of them show diagrams/ drawings of the parts IE: console . From there you can probably figure it out.

SOURCE: I have a 2004 Toyota
The exact fuse for the power outlet. That would be inside the car, the lower finish panel by your left foot, a 15 amp fuse marked on the cover "Power Outlet". -------- check out that fuse.also you can connect additional 12 volt power source to the 115 v power outlet to make it work. Its bit of modification that has to be done.Click this link for its procedure:--- http://howtobyme.blogspot.com/2011/06/115v-power-outlet-in-center-console-not.html --------------- This should help.thanks.Helpmech.
