Question about 1980 Chevrolet Corvette
It will be really hard to find the problem is a bad ground ...batterie ground to the body...under dash ground

This is usually a sign of a bad headlight switch. I would replace the switch as it has a resistor which enables you to dim the lights. Sometimes when the resistor gets hot it opens and the lights go out.
