The clutch plates are worn or the box and fluid are poluted

flush it or better take it apart and fix the clutch

if you rev and it wont move its the plates
prb caused by old fluid and sitting around bro

SOURCE: 94 chevy s-10 clutch won't release comepletely after replacement

two things to mind, sometimes when you get a new clutch it comes with blocks in pressure plate there put in there from the factory for shipping purposes, they have to be removed otherwise it will do what you discribe. secound if you got the wrong length throwout bearing will do it to. most likely its one or the other. if you sure everything is right as far as clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing, than the only other thing i can say it could be is slave cyl. bad. hope this helps. I currently have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma, and the clutch pedal does not return all the way. I know it is not the clutch, it is actually the spring located underneath the pedal. It is catching and not releasing after pushed.... Hope it helps.

SOURCE: 94 isuzu rodeo clutch at the floor barely hanging on

had a recent same problem. would push the clutch all the way to floor and it still would only partially disengage causing hard shifting and forcing thru all gears. solution: underneath dash on drivers side is the clutch pedal adjustment rod. u will h ave to loosen the lock nut and then readjust the pedal. you will want the pedal to come closer to the driver (out) making the stroke on the pedal longer. now mine shifts easily. hopes this helps. bcamp4@tampabay.rr.com

94 ford ranger manual transmission goes into first gear and reverse just fine let off the clutch and the truck wont move.

part of a clutch job is removing the gearlever make sure the lever is secured properly and selects the gear correctly.
Orherwise your symptoms sound like a collapsed pressure plate or broken release bearing either defective part or something done wrong during installation of clutch

I am sorry to say that this is a classic sign of a worn clutch. You most likely need a new clutch, consisting of a driven plate and pressure plate. It is possible also that your clutch pedal travel is out of adjustment, and it is not moving far enough to fully engage the clutch for drive. See the link below.

I doubt the hydraulic fluid will assist because this releases the clutch, that is, with no clutch hydraulic fluid, the clutch would not release the trans to allow you to shift gears.

It is possible to do the clutch job yourself, but not easy. Let us hope it is just the pedal travel.

rattling noise from front, first rule out any loose heath shield check exhaust system, and also your engine mounts when given gas your engine shifs under torque and when you let off the gas to shift engine moves back(no load, torque) if loose or broken mounts may cause interierence on moving parts(binding). do this firts good luck

I hope its your release bearing, but I had this same issue with my Audi and it turned out to be I need a new transmission, the gears are not catching it sounds like. your synchros may also be off. Does it do this in every gear, and once it does move, does the clutch slip?
