If you are using an obd2 reader, make sure it has all the updates. If the check engine light is on, is should show up on reader. There is also a ABS light tester as well. It sounds like an error in the ABS/Trac cirucuits. It could be a bad pump or faulty module.

2007 sports trac wrench light on, abs light on and advance track light on. where to go

Hello Alfred,

The dash warning indicators are showing problems picked up by your vehicles on board computers.

The first step to understanding what all these warnings relate to is having a diagnostic reader reveal the codes that have been registered. This reader is called a OBDII code reader.

Some auto parts stores provide a free diagnostic summary. I think Auto Zone is one of these retailers that will provide this free service.

After you have the codes go to Repair Pal here:

OBD II Trouble Code Chart to find the descriptions for your fault codes.

I have a 2004 Oldsmobile Aleroand I would like to know what needs to be done to fix the service vehicle soon anti-lock and trac off light from coming on

First you'll need to take it someplace to get the computer checked for trouble codes. The codes will tell you or a mechanic what to test.
If the check engine light comes on, it will also turn on the other warning lights even if there is no problem with trac or ABS.

Trac off light on

What kind of scanner are you using. that is a CAN vehicle and not just any OBDII scanner will work to read abs codes. Go to an Oreillys Auto Parts store and get the ABS codes read and message me back with the codes and I will be happy to help.

I have a 2007 Buick LaCrosse. The Service vehicle soon message is showing and my traction control light wont go off. Help

This year model requires a diagnostic scantool to retrieve trouble codes from the computer, most autoparts stores in the US can help you get these codes for free, try autozone, pep boys, O reilly etc.The trac control light will turn on whenever the service soon light comes on by default, the system is disabled until the light is fixed.

Service engine, abs, trac off

The service engine light does not affect the abs.You most likely have a broken wire in your abs system which is affected by suspension movement.A code reader which does abs codes will tell you which wheel circuit is turning on the abs light. When there is no abs available the track will turn off.

2000 grand am se abs light an trac off light and service engine soon light stays on, but i got the car scan and no codes come up

If you had the car scanned with a generic OBDII code reader (Which is what they use at all the parts stores) this is probably why it is not showing any codes. You have "Vehicle Specific" codes. This means that the problem with your Check Engine light is not a problem that will generate a "generic" OBD code. A generic OBD code reader will not read codes from your Antilock Brake System or your Traction Control System at all... You need to have it scanned professionally by someone who has the proper equipment and software to access the Controller Area Network (CAN) in your vehicle.

ABS, brake, trac control, service engine soon light came.

I'm sorry to say that you will need to see a dealer or repair shop so they scan your ABS for trouble codes first and then find your problem.

Abs light, trac light, service engine soon light 2001 Pontiac Grand Am

Sounds like you have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to have it scanned. Since it's been sitting, it might just be a bad connection to one of the speed sensors.
